Introduced at the Scone Game Fair, our Toll House Berry Vodka has become the summer sensation. This full-strength vodka, infused with strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, creates the perfect Summer Berry Spritz.
To enjoy, pour a generous measure over ice, top with lemonade, and garnish with plenty of fresh Angus berries.
Earth Day gave us a chance to reflect on the things we can all do to be kinder to the planet.
For the past 4 years, we have been putting a huge focus on being more sustainable, and doing what we can to minimise our impact.
Here’s just a few things we’ve done:
✅ removed all single use plastic from our primary packaging
✅ installed solar panels on our roof, which powers our bottling equipment
✅ installed an air source heat pump, which heats our site
✅ introduced a bottle return system for our hospitality customers
✅ launched refill pouches across our spirits, to support our “Bottle for Life” initiative
✅ plastic free packaging for orders, including paper bags & paper bubble wrap
✅ started on our journey to become a certified B-Corp
✅ use lightweight glass from a UK based glass manufacturer
✅ source local ingredients, including blueberries, raspberries & rhubarb.
✅ our coffee rum is made with ethically & sustainably sourced coffee beans
✅ focus on our local supply chain, minimising the miles our products travel before they are enjoyed

Environmental consciousness is on the rise and businesses are continually seeking innovative ways to reduce their carbon footprint. Redcastle, is stepping up to the challenge with an eco-friendly solution: eco pouches.
Why not try one of our 50 cl pouches? These pouches not only offer convenience but also present a sustainable alternative to traditional packaging. The innovative design includes a freepost return label on the back, allowing you to effortlessly return the empty pouches via their nearest postbox, free of charge.
But the eco-friendly journey doesn't end there. Once collected, we send the pouches off for recycling through the TerraCycle system, ensuring that they are repurposed efficiently. This closed-loop system minimizes waste and reduces the strain on our environment.
At Redcastle, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. That's why all of our full-strength Redcastle Gins and Rums are available in refillable pouches. Not only are you enjoying premium spirits, but you're also making a positive impact on the environment.
Glass production, while traditional, is not the most environmentally friendly process. Not only does it consume significant energy, but it also adds weight to the supply chain, increasing carbon emissions during transportation. By switching to refillable pouches, we're advocating for a more sustainable future. Making small changes to our habits can result in significant benefits for the planet.
Whether you're at home or on holiday, our refillable pouches are the perfect companion. Compact, lightweight, and environmentally friendly, they offer both convenience and conscience in every sip.
On Sunday 10th March we celebrated our mums (or just enjoyed a few drinks with friends and family) In the Redcastle Lounge at Gayfield (Arbroath FC).
It was a lovely afternoon with lots of chat and laughter and it was a good opportunity for everyone to see that the Redcastle lounge is not all about football.

Good things happen when we work together so huge shout out to our good friends at Sacred Grounds Coffee Company for putting trust in us to ensure their coffee shines through .
We are delighted to announce that our amazing new Redcastle Cold Brew Coffee Rum Liqueur, made in collaboration with the fabulous folk at Sacred Grounds Coffee Company, has only gone and picked up a gold medal at the coveted The Spirits Business Rum & Cachaca awards!
We are so delighted and it underpins our belief that we have created something really rather special - great things happen when people work together and this is a fantastic example of this.
We are delighted to announce our amazing new collaboration, our Redcastle Coffee Rum Liqueur. Sacred Grounds Coffee Company, Angus’ first coffee roastery, have long been on our wish list for collaborating. “Kathryn, one of the directors at Sacred Grounds, and I are good friends and we have often talked about working on a project together” explains Fiona. “Throughout lockdown, we were mooting ideas around a coffee gin but then our attentions moved towards our rum, as we saw interest in our award-winning rum grow at the start of 2021. We then set about working on a Redcastle coffee rum liqueur” To help get this ambitious project off the ground, they enlisted the help of local distiller, Lewis Scothern of Distillutions Ltd, who perfected the art of making cold brew coffee, which could then be blended with Redcastle Spiced Rum. “We like to keep things local so being able to work collaboratively with 2 fellow Angus businesses is great. We needed to be patient though, it was important to find just the right coffee origin to blend with our rum, that was the hardest part!” Following months of trials, the finished product is now ready to launch. “We relied heavily on the expertise of the guys at Sacred Grounds and took their advice regarding which coffees would pair well with our Spiced Rum. We eventually found the perfect match – a single estate El Salvador coffee. It’s perfect” says Walsh. “We have loved collaborating with the Redcastle team on this exciting launch, it’s great to be working with 2 fellow Arbroath businesses to bring this to life” said Kathryn Baker of Sacred Grounds.

Toll House Spirits were delighted to introducing the latest addition to our family -Redcastle Blueberry Old Tom Gin. This is a true celebration and appreciation of all the wonderful produce we have here on our doorstep in Angus and to recognise the Scottish blueberry season, which is now underway. The blueberries used in the distillation were grown at East Seaton Farm, less than 3 miles from our Redcastle brand home in Arbroath. An old tom gin is a little sweeter and we like to enjoy it with lemonade or tonic. Delicious with a garnish of fresh blueberries and a slice of lemon.
Toll House Spirits were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £700 to Broughty Ferry RNLI. We are very proud to support our local lifeboat. They do a tremendous job, in challenging times. £1 from every bottle sold goes to their fundraising appeal.
We promised you some exciting new gins and the wait is over!
Introducing the next 2 fruit infused Redcastle gins to join our line up:- Blood Orange & Rhubarb - Raspberry & Pomegranate
These are full strength, distilled gins and unlike the majority of fruity gins, they do not contain added sugar. The sweetness comes from the delicious fruit combinations. They join the popular Redcastle Passion Fruit & Mango Gin which launched in the summer.
Our label artwork has been designed by local Angus born illustrator Molly McCammon & we love the vibrant colours against the crystal clear spirit.
Our new Redcastle Passion Fruit & Mango 40% gin is now available in 5cl miniature and 20cl, alongside our original 70cl. Isn’t it a lovely little family collection? Angus distilled gin, infused with natural fruit flavours. The perfect summer G&T or try with Lilt for a totally tropical taste sensation. Unlike most of the fruit flavoured gins on the market, we don’t add any sugar, allowing the fruit to bring out the natural sweetness. For those of you with a sweeter tooth, our Redcastle Passion Fruit & Mango gin liqueur is still a stalwart of our growing range

We may be biased but we think it is amazing and we are sure if you are a rum fan you will love it too!
