Redcastle blending School Experiences
Our Redcastle blending school experiences, where you will make you own gin or rum, are hosted by our founder, Fiona Walsh. She started out in the industry in early 2000s as a brand rep for Gordon’s and Tanqueray and has held various senior sales and marketing roles within the drinks industry since. She has a passion for all spirits and her nose is certified by the Heriot Watt Institute of Brewing and Distilling! She holds qualifications from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and is a graduate of the Diageo Spirits Academy. In 2017, frustrated that she could not find a gin she loved, created the recipe for the award winning Redcastle Gin and has gone on to develop a wide range of spirits and liqueurs since.
Redcastle Blending Experience
Experience includes:
- Join us at our Redcastle brand home in Arbroath for an in depth gin or rum experience.
- Explore the history of gin / rum and the diverse ways it is made.
- Discover a range of botanicals and how they each bring something different to the finished spirit.
- Create and make your own recipe using our single botanical distillates and bottle, label and wax dip your own creation.
- Leave with a gift set including 2 x 20cl of the finished recipe, an engraved glass and a certificate.
- We also hold your recipe on file should you wish to reorder again in the future.
