Launched in August 2018, our Redcastle Spiced Rum takes a step back in time to when the East Coast of Scotland was a hotbed for rum smuggling. We blend our own Angus distilled Scottish rum with 3 year old cask aged Caribbean rum. It is a medley of vanilla and citrus which is underpinned by a subtle oakiness.

We first encountered this Jamaican distilled rum in late 2017 and were captivated by its luxurious fruit notes and subtle hints of oak. Aging in oak casks further refines its flavours, resulting in a smooth and mellow profile. it was specially selected to help develop our spiced rum and now it is available on its own.
